Dip flowers for hantaran

I kind of like dip flowers for hantaran but felt it is too expensive to buy ready made ones but too untalented to do my own.

Any tips my dear bride-to-be?

Hantaran Plans

Okay I already mentioned some of the things I want to get for my hantaran. Going to buy it 1 or 2 every month *so it won’t kill me financially*

I made arrangement with ohanaya-san that I’ll buy my own stuff and he buys his own stuff then exchange before the ceremony. Fair enough because I get to splurge on my self and also, I tend not to have any ideas of what things that he actually like. So it works out i get to buy and choose all the hantaran stuff for ‘moi’ and he can buy his own stuff. LOL

So like I said before it will be 7 berbalas 9 dulangs *granted hopefully no one suddenly add on on the last minute. Even if they do I ask them to keep it to a maximum of 9 berbalas 11… no more than that please.

Ok what am I getting for myself -

1. Stila makeup set
2. handbag *my mum thinks i shud get a new one
3. Telekung *going to get a pretty beaded one.
4. Shoes from Lewre
5. Toiletries from Bath Body Works or Victoria’s Secret or Bodyshop
and 6th would be the quintessential Mas Kahwin plus wedding ring/necklace/bracelet
7th is sirih junjung

Knowing him right – he probably get
1. Shirt and pants from Dockers or a Baju Melayu with butang…
2. A new Seiko watch *to replace his old one*
3. Toiletries * I have no idea what he uses.. *
4. Wallet and belt
5. Chocolates
6. Al-quran
7. bunga rampai or maybe a pen or sumthing
I think I’ll top up with
8. Cup cakes…
9. Sirih Junjung of course

Mmm… I think that is a decent list.

Having very itchy fingers to try them on. LOL. But if you already used it cannot put it as hantaran anymore.

I was telling ohanaya-san to get new shoes for the wedding and he was like I just bought these shoes in March. And he only buy new shoes when it is full of holes or beyond repair like every 2-3 years… *jawdrop* Good for the wallet… but dear god, really laaaa…..

And for perfume – I am currently digging Marc Jacobs Daisy Deluxe Gift Set.

Lurve the pretty bottle.. LOL The scent it’s light fruity floral. Just the way I like.

I think we are going for 7 to 9 trays for the wedding. Ohanaya-san’s watch strap just snapped – his was a Seiko watch I bought for his birthday. He’s getting it fixed – but I am more thinking of getting him a new one. I know he would insist not to do that… Maybe for one of the hantaran?
