In conjunction me finally meeting my photographer recently — I am featuring the favourite works of his.
I started out asking Eleena who did she pick for HER wedding photographer. My philososphy is it takes someone from the wedding industry to know the best people in the field. She recommended Fairuz Ismail of Avicenna Studio. (who is incidentally also her studio partner and primary school classmates). I emailed Fairuz and he gave his quotation which is very reasonable so I booked him straight away — around last year. Which worked up very cheap compared to what he is charging this year * I got him according to last year rates not this year rates.
Initially I have my doubts. I like Saiful Nang and Syahrin Aziz works as well. But — I have already paid right so no changing my mind. And I am a big fan of his wife’s blog *LOL* — yup.. benda yang langsung tak berkaitan tapi dipertimbangkan juga dalam proses pemilihan jurugambar perkahwinan. I like his sample of work — especially the ones with normal at home ‘kenduri’. I mean, anyone can take nice gorgeous pictures of extraordinary hotel weddings — ya know the kind of Mawi and Ekin wedding carnival with huge panels of fresh flowers and lampu lip lap lip lap–
It takes a talented photographer to photograph a normal wedding and transform it into something special.
Need to make sure he takes a picture of both me and ohanaya-san’s grandmothers ‘tepung tawar’.
And pictures of my aunties and uncles… yes I like more pics of people rather than things.
Sure you want to have photos of the wedding details like the hantaran and stuff but I really want my wedding pics be more about people that I love – my friends and family. So moar pics of my nieces & friends and less of the pelamin detailings… because seriously not many ppl actually really pays attention to it.
And I want a father and daughter pic moment like this.
Cute nieces & cousin shot is a wajib shot
Muka groom tengah takut depan kadi also a wajib shot
Kaki shots that I like…
…. to be continued…
